SwInG zOnE

The second emotobook that I have illustrated will soon be arriving on the cyber shelves!  please visit this link and check it out. http://gritcitypublications.com/Grit_City_Publications/SwingZone.html.  Have you ever thought about what it would be like to live in a hot, sexy, futuristic world?  It's okay, you don't have to answer that out loud.  lol Seriously though, this scifi thriller will take you to that futuristic world.  Doubling as a romance story, it explores a young woman's struggle between her technologically advanced world and that of the purist who can't seem to stop haunting her thoughts.  Wanna know what a purist is?  Wanna know why this woman can't stop thinking about it?  Wanna know where I'm going with all this?  Too damn bad, read it for yourself and get on my level...and while your at it, enjoy my art! Haha, in all seriousness, if you are still reading this post then know one thing.  Swing Zone, written by Jodi McClure, is an awesome read.  I can't forget to mention our editor Alexis Jenny either!  Without her, none of this would be possible!

...Let's also throw it up to our fearless leader Ron Gavalik, founder of Grit City Publications and everyone involved for helping make this awesome story happen.

getting my ass kicked

I'm getting my ass kicked...

lol wouldn't that be great to leave my post at that.  but really, illustrating for swing zone is kicking my ass...BUT I must say I there is nothing that I would rather do (within reason of course lol).  really though, this is an awesome story and I feel privileged to be the artist for such a cool story.  written by Jodi McClure, when it hits the shelves, give this story a chance. you will not be disappointed!

....note that I seem to not believe in capital letters at the beginning of sentences...JUST NOTE IT lol

This is a sample of one of the abstract illustrations that emotobooks like Grit City use to push their themes and concepts for helping to tell the story. This work is entitled "the creation of light" (read issue 5 and you'll find out why!)

pokegami's!

Pokegami! This is just a fun project that I am doing with my friend Andrew Miller, where we are combining pokemon and bleach.  Anyone who appreciates having a little fun with manga and anime should appreciate this.  I will be doing the captains and lieutenants and he will be handling the arrancars and hollows.  Though these are just quick drawings and what not, they are still fairly badass.  here is the first one, Captain Scyther!  About to use his swords dance shikai! (if you know pokemon and bleach well this is cool).  Enjoy!

This is a character in a story that I plan to fully create one day.  Now I am guilty of always saying that, but I swear this time I will do it! lol YOU'LL SEE

Welcome!

Welcome to my Blog!  My name is Zach Revale.  I am a digital artist with a love for all things cartoon and or comic oriented.  Don't get me wrong I love all mediums of art, but cartoons just bring out the best in something inside of me.  I will forever be a quest to design/create the most bad-ass comic or graphic novel ever...until then I will just continue to create whatever comes to mind.  I take inspiration from everything around me.  My family and girlfriend are just two outlets give me the creative power I need.  I hope everyone who takes a few minutes to read or look at my blog take something away with them that they enjoy.  For all of you out there who do not consider Digital Artist to be "real artist" then I feel sorry for you.  Have fun playing caveman while the rest of the world makes wonderful advances in technology to improve the art world!
